Jackson legal case "names five"
Five people are named as alleged fellow conspirators in the legal case against singer Michael Jackson, according to a document released by his defence team.

Lawyer Steve Cochran said the grand jury indictment "imagines an elaborate conspiracy" involving Mr Jackson, the five named people, and others. It was not previously known how many others were included in the indictment. Mr Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 child molestation charges, including a charge of conspiracy to abduct a child. The names of the five alleged co-conspirators were not revealed in the document. Condemned: The paper had been released in response to media requests that details of the indictment be unsealed by the court. Mr Jackson's defence team have condemned what they called a "media frenzy" surrounding the case. Mr Cochran said the grand jury indictment reflected a "one-sided, prosecution theory" of the proceedings. "It is plainly unfair to Mr Jackson to saturate the media, again, with only the prosecution's view of this case, particularly while Mr Jackson is subject to the constraints of the protective order," Mr Cochran wrote. The California Supreme Court said earlier this week that it would not consider arguments from news organisations seeking release of the material.
