THE LAST WORD

SUSAN EGAN?

Simply, La Crème de La Crème. First Class!!                           by maximillien de lafayette, London. Photos by robert milazzo, New York/California.

A Super Duper, Splendid Performer, Actress, Artist and Singer  at many levels! Watching her is a pure delight! Her talent is almost perfect, and to me this is dangerously sinful, for nobody in arts,  should become perfect, rise above the firmament of  the esthetics, and beauty of performing arts and touch the face of God!  But, Ms Egan flew fast and  very high. It is too late to capture her now. But I will take her enormous talent and ran away with it home.... Just seconds before her performance comes to an end, a very a propos oldie is to be hummed "Save the last dance for me"... And sing it loud, if you want Susan Egan to hear you.

Susan Egan is America's sweetest, most charming, striking   and adorable mega talent on and off stage. Every time, she performs, she takes the town by storm.  It happens all the time and this enormous success was evidenced and acclaimed by her audience, the fans and the public who attended two of her most recent and  "perfect performances";  playing Sally in Cabaret and  Millie in Broadway's Thoroughly Modern Millie!  It was quite hard to catch Ms Egan before our publications deadlines. We  will try again to capture this nymph and glue her for a moment or two on the Monthly Herald  pages and get an interview with her. Perhaps, the forthcoming issue. On April 1st, Susan will be singing  at  The Good, Bad and Ugly Awards entertaining event that serves as a platform for bestowing accolades and awards on  creative advertising and "propaganda" about women. Also,  Ms Susan Egan  will be participating in the annual AIDS benefit gala, Broadway Sings On Park Avenue  to raise funds which would go directly  to children's charities for those affected with HIV. And by the time the ink gets dry on this page, Ms Egan would and could be on her way to the studio to record her third solo CD entitled Susan Egan, Something Else which is produced and co-conceived by her longtime friend, the  exceptionally talented Mr Christopher McGovern.  So long! Until we meet again, next month, hopefully.- De Lafayette writing from London.
