She did it all. And she did it with beauty, creativity, class, divinity and magic. She wrote poetry, composed music, arranged orchestrations, designed CDs and produced magnificent artwork, she sang, she toured the world, she performed on stage, her songs topped the soul and R&B, Jazz and inspirational music chart/billboard, she racked up 192,000 hits, she wrote and performed the 1999 international music sensation "Who Will Accept My Tears" on an album by the great guitarist Dave Manley, she shared the stage light spots and place of honor  while performing with  Frank Foster, Reggie Workman, Broun Fellinis, and made her mark on the world of music while writing most delightful pieces with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Dave Manley, the great David Fiuczynski, Adam Rogers of the Lost Tribe, Derrick Bronston of the Hush and Gbatokai Dakinah, Jr. of the Bell Band, she explored and studied the world’s ethnic and folklore music, to name a few; Indian, Balkan, Asian, Arabic and African… Do you want more of Lian’s immense creativity and excellence? More accomplishments and remarkable deeds? Then, get this: She is an award-winning actress, who's debut starring outstanding performance in "Longshot", which she co-wrote (of course), won the First Prize at the Montbelliard Festival in France. In addition, she served as a music and arts features journalist for Associated Press and numerous other leading music magazines, as well as music, jazz, soul, blues, pop, opera and soul columnist… She currently runs the record label FuzeLicious Morsels… and to wrap it up, Lian is the daughter of the legendary jazz singer and vocal coach Maye Cavallaro.
