DEAR PEGGY: LETTERS TO THE EDITOR                                                                                                                             peggy-north@monthlyherald.com

MAIL: THIRD POUCH

ONE MILLION THANKS TO MRS MARTINE FOXHALL AND THE MONTHLY HERALD!!!!!!

Dear Mrs Peggy: What can I say and how can I thank you enough for translating Mr. de Lafayette's masterpiece article on Maestro Andre Rieu. What a magnificent job, Mrs Martine Foxhall of Belgium did. Her translation is perfect. Finally, I can relax, because my friends in Cameroon and Canada are off my back. Madame Martine, one million thanks for translating the article. You are as good as the original author of the article. Congrats! Really, you made my day. Thank you again. Alphonse Bonaventura, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

THE FORGOTTEN FEMMES FATALES OF HOLLYWOOD

Dear Peggy. Old black and white films are my great love. They are pure magic. I collect old memorabilia of the goddesses of the silver screen. I am fascinated by the femmes fatales of that era. Helas! Nobody writes about them anymore. How about the Monthly Herald, Mrs Peggy? Is it a possibility? I will give you all the time you need. Mrs Peggy, I noticed you have quite an archive on artists and famous personalities. Would it be too much if I ask you-if possible-to publish some photos of those splendid forgotten femmes fatales of the golden era of Hollywood. My favorites were Rita Hayworth, Carole Landis, Lynn Bari and Brenda Marshall. Could you, would you print some, please? Gratefully, Fernando Mondragon, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

You got it! Here some. This is the best I can do on a short notice.
