Julie Wilson took over roles on Broadway in The Pyjama Game and Kismet and played in various regional productions, performing in London and the USA before taking time off to look after her children. In 1984 she returned in triumph, performing Cole Porter songs at Michael's Pub. She later earned a Tony Award nomination for Legs Diamond and Hannah ...1939, recorded several albums as well as performing in the prestigious Russian Tea Rooms, Michael’s Pub and the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, New York.  “A blazing tour-de-force” The New York Time-  ”The quintessential cabaret singer” New York Post. “The reigning queen of cabaret” Back Stage.
