AMERICAN LEGENDS :

Eileen Fulton: America’s Grande Dame of Entertainment!!

 By Maximillien de Lafayette

Eileen Fulton - Appearance Picture #2Eileen Fulton, America’s stunning entertainment diva sings, acts, moves, talks and philosophizes as the perfect “La Femme Fatale”. As enigmatic as Marlene Dietrich, as classy as Lana Turner, as dramatic as Edith Piaf  and as warm and convincing as Simone Signoret, this American gem brings class, beauty, elegance, intelligence, warmth, quality and divinity to the world of American entertainment. God, sometimes, makes mistakes; he creates now and then, an almost perfect diva. And this, infuriates Goddesses in the firmament, confuses stage directors, disorients starlets but, it still brings to the world, intelligent beauty,  truthful talent, mesmerizing performances, fatal charm and enchantment. For some of us, this is too much, for others, this is just the beginning of the magical and captivating universe of showbiz. And this universe becomes a kingdom. To exist and cement the roots of its perpetuity, this kingdom of beauty and enchantment needs a king, sometimes a queen. More than a queen, would be EILEEN FULTON!! With grace, she reigns over the kingdom of American entertainment. Eileen’s kingdom is immense. She shines and glitters on every inch of this kingdom which encompasses soap operas, motion pictures, stage, television, cabaret, writing, singing, dancing, story-telling, acting and flirting with Gods! And Eileen Fulton did it all. Eileen originated the role of Lisa Miller on “As The World Turns”  in 1960 and succeeded in bringing the character to prime time in the 1965 CBS  “Our Private World”. As a queen of American soap opera, Eileen received in 1991 the  “Soap Opera Digest's Editor's Award” followed in 1996 by a nomination for a Soap Opera Award from “Soap Opera Digest” and by another prestigious nomination as Best Actress in 1970 by “Daytime TV Magazine's” reader's poll.  In 1998, this American Super Diva was inducted into the “Soap Opera Hall of Fame”.  She was on the top of the world. And she is still on the top, for no living performer can surpass her talent.
